I made an animation called 'Poseimon's Dream':

Sounds from Freesound.org:

And here are some stills from it:

The low-fi look is intentional and was achieved by just rendering at a low sample count and denoising, but I get that it might not be to everyone's tastes, particularly as early generative AI videos also have this look.

I based it on the poem 'Poseimon's Dream' by Gog from 'Writings of Gog' translated' by Gardinelle in the 13th century:

I am an everlasting darkness in an everlasting dream,
I am far beneath the surface of an ever running stream.

I wash up before a mountain and pray my pain he'll take,
I know the call is answered and the dreamer is awake.

I see a light before me, forgiveness on its way,
A stranger in the darkness, the figure starts to sway.

My laughter turns to crying and the tears become a globe,
But the globe is just a doorway and through it I must go.

I move on through the darkness and a fire starts to burn,
I hear a distant promise and my head it starts to turn.

I see a far off figure, small and at my feet,
The voice becomes a whisper and I bend that we may meet.

The pain becomes so blinding and the noise becomes a roar,
I have a secret longing and I know that I need more.

The hunger is a question and the answer is a choice,
I grant the gift of silence and in it I rejoice.

Now I grow more tired and the day it is no more,
I settle down to slumber on a darkly mirrored floor.

I am an everlasting darkness in an everlasting dream,
I am far beneath the surface of an ever running stream.

Ray.

PS. Just to be clear, I wrote the poem and made up the author. I thought it would be a fun fiction to imagine that this is some ancient creature that might have been written about in a mysterious book.
